Gachatha by Hex Coffee

Gachatha factory has served smallholders on the slopes of the Aberdares in Nyeri since 1963, on the deep red volcanic soil that makes this corner of Kenya famous. Textbook Kenyan processing — dry-fermented overnight, washed, soaked and slow-dried on raised beds — and textbook Kenyan varieties in SL28 and SL34. Hibiscus and strawberry jam, with jasmine lifting through the cup.
