Our Story

About Harbour Roast Coffee

Harbour Roast Coffee is Bermuda's specialty coffee importer. We work directly with some of the most respected roasters in the world — including Sey, Hex, Onyx Coffee Lab, and Intelligentsia — and bring their freshly roasted coffees to the island on a regular schedule.

We were founded by Andrew Brookes and Germiko Hill with a simple idea: Bermuda's food, drink, and hospitality scene is world-class, but the coffee hasn't kept pace. We're here to change that.

What We Do

Every two weeks, we receive a fresh shipment of specialty coffee from our roaster partners. Our selection rotates with the seasons — as roasters release new lots from harvests in Colombia, Ethiopia, Peru, Kenya, and beyond, we bring the best of what's available to Bermuda.

Each coffee we carry has been graded at 80 points or above on the specialty scale and roasted with care to highlight its unique origin character. Whether it's a fruit-forward Ethiopian natural or a clean, structured Colombian washed lot, every bag tells a different story.

We supply specialty coffee to hotels, restaurants, cafés, and offices across Bermuda at competitive wholesale pricing. For individual coffee lovers, every product on our site ships island-wide. We believe great coffee should be available to everyone on the island, not just those lucky enough to travel to the roasters themselves.

Specialty coffee is graded 80 points or above on a 100-point scale by certified tasters, placing it in the top tier of coffee produced worldwide. Unlike commercial coffee, specialty beans are typically grown at higher elevations, carefully hand-picked, and roasted in small batches. Every bag we sell comes with full traceability — you'll know exactly where it was grown, the varietal, how it was processed, and detailed tasting notes.

At the moment, Harbour Roast is an online-only business — you can browse and order all of our coffees at harbourroast.com with free delivery island-wide. Products & Pricing

Our coffees are typically available in 250g bags. For those looking to stock up, we also offer 2lb and 5lb bags on select coffees. For specific size requirements or larger quantities, reach out at Sales@harbourroast.com.

We receive new shipments directly from our roasting partners every two weeks and aim to keep all of our coffees within three weeks of their roast date. Our selection rotates regularly as roasters release new seasonal lots. Every product page includes the roast date.
