Built once a year for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Chicago is Intelligentsia’s home, and the roastery has backed the race and its runners for years. This year’s blend pairs washed lots from Guji smallholders in Ethiopia, grown at 2,000 to 2,200 metres and dried on raised beds, with coffee from Milder Velasquez in Huehuetenango, Guatemala. Bright and clean: black cherry and plum with a strawberry lift. It goes when the race does, so this one is genuinely seasonal — and we only have the one bag.
