Nicaragua Los Delirios Pacamara

In 2004 Daniel Canales became the first grower ever to win a Cup of Excellence with an organically grown coffee — Intelligentsia bought part of that winning lot and have worked with the family since. Today his three sons farm in Pueblo Nuevo, Estelí, and this washed Pacamara comes from Norman Canales. Pacamara is known for enormous beans and a flavour to match: green apple and lemon curd over a thick caramel sweetness.
